The Challenge
They needed to eliminate expensive and time-consuming maintenance and dependency on other servers. Ekol international footprint was growing, and the need to travel and be increasingly mobile called for cloud-based email and data storage systems.Saving cost is the most important and Ekol is already benefitting from the change in the way that they communicate and collaborate as a team.
The Solution
Ekol ensured that the message of change management was driven loud and clear, and the Ekol team quickly familiarized themselves with the new interface. At one third the cost of Ekol’s previous system, Ekol describes Google Workspace as having twice the functionality. Ekol saves about 15 hours a week by not having to manage on-premise servers.
Results
Reduced IT support costs for email by up to 50%.With sharing of spreadsheets and documents rising through the use of Google Sheets and Google Docs respectively, EKOL’s employees are collaborating more effectively and making decisions faster and more easily. Team members are increasingly sending links through Google Drive
